Collusion is something that one should beware of when playing online poker tournaments.  There are more than normal chances of getting cheated by possible card manipulation by colluding players.  You might wonder how one can cheat when it is the software that deals the cards and keeps track of points. This is absolutely possible when two players that are playing opponents in the same table work together to trick out the rest of the table.

A lot of attempts have been made in online poker tournaments to prevent colluding like not allowing two players from the same area to register for the game and also two players that are often playing together at the same table is not also allowed.  However, despite all these things people still collude.  Two players, one from Australia and one from America collude! What can we do about it? Nothing or if at all we or the site can do something about it, it is going to be very less. Collusion might continue, the site can do all the prevention, but we cannot be sure that we are playing in 100% collusion free environments even in the most reputed site.  While in online poker tournaments, it takes just a few messages in private chats or mobile text for two players to collude!
