Poker Tournaments Structure

Those that are a skilled rounder in their betting styles in games of chance poker tournaments are definitely a boon.  Unlike in ring games where players are welcomed to get more chips at any point in time, in poker tournaments players are supposed to play just with the beginning allotted buy in.  Add on buy ins and rebuys in poker tournaments are not unlimited either there is a limit set for those too.

The format of almost all poker tournaments is knock out elimination where you will be playing until you have lost all your chips or until you force everyone else to lose their chips.  Not all poker tournaments are take all for winners, rather there is a first, second and third place in most tourneys.  Normally the first place gets 50% of prize pool, second place gets 30% of price pool, third place gets 15% and in cases where there is fourth place they take a 15% of the last 15% goes to the organizing team.  This structure is not the same for all poker tournaments rather it might vary based on individual poker tournaments and their decided structure. Poker tournaments are interesting because they allow you to win big for your small investment.
